About Annabelle

Growing up, I always had an interest in film, music and media. I started playing guitar when I was 12, and joined School of Rock in Fairfield, CT. I love to play music and perform in bands. I knew I wanted to go into the arts, but was not sure what direction to take in college. When I was 16 and learning to drive, my instructor mentioned taking film classes. Suddenly I realized, that's exactly what I wanted to do. As a senior in high school, I had the opportunity to work as a PA for a director in New York City for one of his shoots. After that experience, I decided to go to school for film.

I am majoring in Film and Media Studies with a certificate in Television and Broadcasting Arts at University of Pittsburgh. I currently work as a Production Assistant for ACC Network, where I work replay, TOC, and utility for Pitt sports broadcasts. I am also working at ViraBusters Cleaning Service as their photographer and videographer. As well as taking photos for the company, I film and edit customer testimonials. I studied abroad as apart of the Pittsburgh-London Film Program. In London I created a documentary about the punk scene called Underground Anthem: London Punk. I also produced a narrative film outside of class called Half Moon Passage, which is expected to be released in January, 2026. I will be attending the Cannes Film Festival in May 2026 as a part of the American Pavilion Student Program. There,  I will intern at a company involved with the festival or the AmPav operational team.
